Augusta, Georgia – Cushman., a brand of Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. and a specialized vehicles manufacturer, has unveiled its latest utility terrain vehicle, the Hauler XL, featuring a new 68.5-inch aluminum flatbed designed to boost hauling capacity and performance in demanding work environments.
Built with a truck-inspired design and user-friendly dash layout, the Hauler XL delivers a 1,200-pound bed load capacity and a 1,600-pound overall payload rating. The extended flatbed can be customized with steel drop sides, an enclosed aluminum box bed, or other upgrade options, offering flexible configurations for diverse jobsite needs.
The Hauler XL is available in two powertrain options:
- Elite Series (Electric): Powered by maintenance-free Samsung SDI lithium battery technology, this model offers reduced maintenance requirements, an automatic parking brake, and is street-legal in many areas. It comes with a five-year battery warranty and optional IntelliGauge system for enhanced vehicle diagnostics and control.
- Gasoline-Powered Model: Equipped with a 13.5-horsepower engine, ideal for users preferring a traditional internal combustion setup.
Designed for road use where permitted, the Elite model meets FMVSS 500 and SAE J2358 standards, allowing operation on roads with speed limits up to 35 mph. It can reach speeds up to 25 mph.
