Daimler Delivers 24 Mercedes-Benz Coaches to Munich and Berlin

Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany- Daimler Buses GmbH., delivered 24 Mercedes-Benz Tourismo 15 RHD touring coaches in the city of Neu-Ulm to Autobus Oberbayern GmbH., a bus and coach operator, from Munich and Bus-Verkehr Berlin KG., (BVB) from Berlin. Each company received 12 coaches for use as team buses in the upcoming major sporting event in 2024.

The Tourismo 15 RHD coaches feature a white exterior and a comprehensive safety package including ESP, ASR, BA, Adaptive Cruise Control, Active Brake Assist 4, Lane Assistant, Sideguard Assist, Attention Assist, and TPM. They also have electrically heated windscreen and mirrors, along with LED headlamps for enhanced visibility.

The Tourismo coaches are powered by a Euro VI Mercedes-Benz OM 470 engine and Mercedes Benz GO 250 8 PowerShift transmission. Inside, black and silver seating ensures comfort, along with a convector heater and EvoCool Basic air conditioning with antiviral filtration. Amenities include a galley with coffee machine, on-board toilet, and refrigerator. Entertainment is provided by Coach Infotainment system, with 24 USB charging sockets for passenger devices.
