Leinfelden-Echterdingen- Daimler Buses has supplied new Setra ComfortClass touring coaches to three Bavarian travel operators—Prager Reisen, Weger Reisen and Söllner Reisen. The vehicles will be used for premium tours, charter services and scheduled passenger transport.
Prager Reisen has taken delivery of a Setra S 515 HD and S 517 HD, offering 50 and 60 passenger seats respectively. The coaches will be used for the company’s premium travel programme and charter services for businesses, clubs and schools.
Both vehicles feature MirrorCam, a 360-degree camera system and an onboard galley. Founded in 1970, the family-owned company now operates ten Setra vehicles, including seven MultiClass low-entry buses used for scheduled services in the Freyung-Grafenau and Passau districts.
Dachau-based Weger Reisen has added an S 515 HD and S 516 HD to its fleet. The 51-seat S 515 HD is the first brand-new coach purchased by Junior Managing Director Antonio Simunovic, while the S 516 HD is equipped with 55 Ambassador seats.
The coaches will support the operator’s tour programme and charter services, including day trips, club excursions and school outings. Both vehicles are fitted with MirrorCam, which replaces conventional exterior mirrors with internal displays and provides drivers with a wider field of vision.
Weger Reisen currently operates six Setra vehicles, including low-entry buses used for scheduled services in and around Munich.
Meanwhile, Regensburg-based Söllner Reisen has acquired four Setra ComfortClass coaches finished in basalt grey, meteor gold, light orange and white. The vehicles retain the company’s signature diamond-pattern design while featuring different colours to create a distinctive appearance.
The new S 515 HD, S 516 HD and S 517 HD coaches will be deployed for cultural, leisure and holiday tours, charter services and trips organised for partner travel agencies across Europe.
