Germany/Spain- Daimler Truck Financial Services España, E.F.C., S.A., together with dealer partner Eje Occidental De Camiones, S.L. is an official dealer and workshop for Mercedes-Benz and Fuso trucks in Spain, has delivered 27 new Mercedes-Benz Actros 1853 LS GigaSpace ProCabin trucks to Spanish logistics company Transnoriega, supporting the company’s ongoing fleet modernization strategy.

The new Actros trucks are designed to deliver high levels of safety, comfort, and efficiency. A key highlight is the extended front end, stretched by 80 mm, along with a largely seamless exterior structure that improves aerodynamics. This design helps optimize airflow around the vehicle and can deliver fuel savings of up to 3%, depending on the application.

Daimler has also enhanced efficiency through advanced, low-emission diesel engines across the Actros L powertrain range. These drivetrains are built to improve fuel economy, reduce CO₂e emissions, and lower operating costs, contributing to a stronger total cost of ownership while maintaining strong performance and driving comfort.

The trucks are equipped with multiple advanced driver assistance systems to boost safety and convenience. These include Active Brake Assist 6 Plus for emergency braking, Active Sideguard Assist 2 for turning support, Front Guard Assist for safer start-off, and Active Drive Assist 3 for automated driving support. These systems are backed by a new electronics platform that combines radar and camera data to provide detection coverage of up to 270 degrees.

Inside, the GigaSpace cab offers a premium level of driver comfort, reinforcing the Actros’ focus on long-haul efficiency and usability.

Mr. Antonio Cortes Noriego, Chief Operations Officer at Transnoriega, said the company appreciates Daimler Truck’s continued support in strengthening its Mercedes-Benz fleet. He noted that after taking delivery of its first 25 tractor units six years ago, this new batch of 27 units brings the company’s total Mercedes-Benz truck fleet to 49, with expectations for further growth in the future.
