Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany- Daimler Truck Holding AG., has reappointed Dr. Andreas Gorbach for further five years - from the end of his current term - until June 30, 2029. Andreas Gorbach's current appointment ends on June 30, 2024. Andreas Gorbach has been a member of the Board of Management of Daimler Truck, responsible for Truck Technology, since December 1, 2021.

After graduating from the University of Stuttgart with a degree in Engineering and Process Technology and the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a master's degree in System Dynamics and Control, Andreas Gorbach began working in the field of powertrain development at the former DaimlerChrysler AG in 2005. He obtained his doctorate from the University of Stuttgart in 2005. Since then, he has served in a number of managerial capacities within Daimler Truck's development and product management division. Prior to being initially named to the board of management in 2021, he also served as CEO of Cellcentric GmbH & Co.
