Monroe, Washington - Darda GmbH., a demolition attachments manufacturer, has launched its range of demolition attachments for compact carriers—including mini excavators, telehandlers, and skid steers—across the U.S. and Canada. The portfolio includes bolt cutters, concrete crushers, rock splitters, steel shears, and tank cutters designed for applications such as interior demolition, trenching, and rock excavation, while delivering low-noise, low-dust, and low-vibration performance.
The rock splitter provides controlled and silent breaking with up to 3,600,000 pounds (1,632,933 kilograms) of splitting force, using a wedge mechanism inserted into a 3-inch (76 millimetres) drilled hole to create fast, safe splits. Darda’s tank cutter enables cold, continuous cutting for steel tanks, pipes, and vessels, delivering 120,000 pounds (54,431 kilograms) of force to cut materials up to 0.5 inches (13 millimetres) thick.
Concrete crushers are engineered for job sites with strict noise limits, offering large jaw openings and 44–54 tons of crushing force to handle concrete slabs up to 22 inches (558 millimetres) thick while cutting rebar up to 1.2 inches (30 millimetres) in diameter. The crushers can also be converted into steel shears by changing the jaw sets. The new bolt cutters provide a compact hydraulic cold-cutting solution with no sparks or open flames, capable of cutting high-strength rebar up to 1.3 inches (32 millimetres) thick. Steel shears deliver 228,000 pounds (103,419 kilograms) of cutting force independent of the carrier’s hydraulic pressure and feature an 8-inch (204-millimetre) opening for precise positioning.
Mr. Sebastien Berche, business development manager for Darda North America, said, “Any kind of demolition—whether that's cutting metal or breaking concrete or rock—can be really bothersome to the people living or working nearby. Darda attachments offer a way to mitigate the negative effects of noise and vibration while ensuring safe operations.”
