DEVELON Appointed Woohyun Kim as New CEO

Suwanee, Georgia - DEVELON., a part of HD Hyundai Infracore, has named Woohyun Kim as its new Chief Executive Officer. Kim will oversee the DEVELON brand’s heavy and compact construction equipment operations across the United States and Canada. Bringing over 25 years of experience in sales, business management, and human resources, Kim is poised to further strengthen the brand’s presence in the North American market.

Mr. Woohyun Kim, said, "I look forward to building on our success in North America and growing the DEVELON brand. We've made significant progress in recent years, changing the brand and expanding our construction equipment lineup. We will continue to grow with reliable and productive heavy and compact equipment, with the help of our more than 200 dealers in the United States and Canada."

Most recently, Kim served as director of sales operation and programs for DEVELON. From January 2023 to December 2024, he held the role of director of commercial planning and sales operations, where he led initiatives in sales planning, product management, financial planning, and remarketing. During this period, he also oversaw the opening of the North American Customer Utilization Plant near Savannah, Georgia - a key milestone for the company.

Kim’s career journey began in December 2001 when he joined Doosan as a human resources manager. Over the years, he has held various leadership roles in Seoul, South Korea; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; and Atlanta, Georgia, gaining global experience that now informs his approach to the North American market.

Mr. Jaeyoung Moon, Head of the construction machinery business division of HD Hyundai Infracore, said, “Woohyun's sales and leadership positions in the past two decades will culminate in his new strategic role in North America.”
