DEVELON Launches DX270WMH-7 Wheel Material Handler

Suwanee, Georgia - DEVELON., a part of HD Hyundai Infracore and a construction equipment manufacturer, has unveiled its latest material handling innovation, the DX270WMH-7 wheel material handler, designed to deliver higher productivity, enhanced safety, and improved operator comfort for recycling and solid waste facilities.

The new model, part of DEVELON’s -7 Series, combines extended reach, an elevated hydraulic cab riser, and advanced operator-focused features to meet the demands of modern recycling operations.

Engineered on an in-house chassis, the DX270WMH-7 is purpose-built for paved recycling facilities, offering durability and reduced downtime. Its nearly 3-foot longer reach and raised cab give operators an optimal vantage point for loading trucks, railcars, and containers. A new virtual wall feature prevents accidental boom and arm collisions, increasing safety in confined spaces.

The elevated cab provides safer ground-level entry and adjustable working heights. Inside, operators benefit from a heated air-suspension seat, climate control, joystick steering, and an 8-inch LCD monitor with Bluetooth connectivity. Safety enhancements include a 360-degree around view monitor (AVM), wider outriggers for stability, LED work lights, a collision-prevention system, and seatbelt and site alarms, ensuring secure operations in demanding environments.

The DX270WMH-7 features a DPF-free system, reversible cooling fan, and MY DEVELON telematics to cut downtime and boost fleet efficiency. Joining DEVELON’s DX225MH-5 and DX300MH-5 handlers, the new model strengthens the brand’s reputation for reliable, innovative solutions in recycling and waste, setting a new benchmark for safety, comfort, and performance.
