Diamond Mowers Unveils New Drum Mulcher Pro X2 for Loaders

South Dakota, USA - DIAMOND MOWERS, LLC., a mowing and mulching equipment manufacturer, has launched the Drum Mulcher Pro X2, a high-performance mulching attachment designed for skid steers and compact track loaders (CTLs). Offered in 60- and 72-inch widths, the mulcher is available in two drum configurations: Open Drum (OD) and Depth Control (DC). Both models can process vegetation up to 9 inches in diameter.

The Depth Control model comes standard with Edge Hardened Steel Teeth, featuring taller paddles that pull in more material to deliver a cleaner mulch in fewer passes. The Open Drum model is equipped with Twin Maul Carbide Teeth, built for rugged terrain and aggressive ground contact. Users can also mix and match tooth types to meet specific job requirements.

The Drum Mulcher Pro X2 has been engineered for improved stability, visibility, and control. By positioning motor components closer to the carrier, Diamond Mowers enhanced the center of gravity and overall balance, making it easier to maneuver.

The Drum Mulcher Pro X2 features a redesigned push bar with serrated edges for improved control when handling and directing debris. Its optimized infeed system ensures efficient cutting and produces ideal chip sizes without slowing the feed rate. For enhanced safety, anti-slip treads are added to the drum to provide better footing during operator ingress and egress. Additionally, an integrated toolbox offers convenient onboard storage for essential tools such as grease guns, spare teeth, and chains, helping to minimize jobsite downtime.

Customers can further customize the attachment with optional upgrades, including an upgraded brake system that automatically stops the rotor within 10 seconds after flow is cut, a hydraulic trap door for better control over material discharge, and a built-in pressure gauge mounted on the chassis for real-time system diagnostics.
