Vilnius, Lithuania- DINOBUS., an electric bus manufacturer has introduced its latest model the DinoVeloci designed specifically for airport environments requiring agility, low emissions, and high passenger capacity.

As airports globally accelerate their zero-emission initiatives, the demand for electric apron buses has surged. While many airside buses prioritize size to reduce round trips, they often struggle in constrained environments such as older terminals or regional airports with tighter roads, lower ceilings, or narrow stands. Addressing these operational challenges, the DinoVeloci presents a balanced solution a compact body without compromising on performance or capacity.

With a height of 3.04 meters, the DinoVeloci stands noticeably shorter than DINOBUS’s flagship model, the DinoRex (3.4 meters), yet it retains a passenger capacity of 110. The vehicle’s low-floor design allows for smooth boarding and efficient space use, while its overall dimensions 1398 mm width, 3050 mm wheelbase, and 3080 mm height are optimized for maneuvering in high-traffic zones, tight gates, and narrow service routes.

Built with a lightweight chassis, smart suspension, and airport-grade materials, the DinoVeloci is engineered to withstand extreme ground handling conditions. Despite its smaller size, it meets all relevant European aviation and safety standards, offering a reliable, comfortable, and future-ready transport solution for airports.

The DinoVeloci is fully battery-electric, producing zero tailpipe emissions and emitting significantly lower noise levels compared to traditional diesel buses. This aligns the vehicle with EU climate regulations and green aviation goals. Its battery system sourced from CATL, a global leader in LFP battery technology offers high thermal stability and a long lifecycle.

Operators can choose between battery capacities ranging from 140 kWh to 281 kWh, depending on their operational demands. A fast plug-in charging system allows full charging within 1 to 2 hours, enhancing operational uptime. The bus reaches a top speed of 60 km/h, with options for higher speed configurations upon request.

A recent milestone highlights the DinoVeloci’s operational success at Naples International Airport, where the bus has already clocked over 30,000 kilometers in a short deployment period. Operator feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, citing low maintenance needs and high reliability.

The launch of the DinoVeloci underscores DINOBUS’s commitment to sustainable innovation and practical solutions for real-world airport challenges. By combining compact design with full functionality and zero emissions, the DinoVeloci positions itself as one of the most versatile and future-focused apron buses now available in the global market.
