Karnataka - Drivn Transition Pvt Ltd., has entered into a leasing partnership with AVG Logistics Limited for the deployment of up to 100 electric trucks, strengthening its position in India’s heavy-duty electric truck leasing market.
The partnership will begin with an initial deployment of 30 electric trucks under a long-term logistics contract, with the rollout already underway.
AVG Logistics, an established logistics service provider with operations across multiple sectors and regions, is integrating electric heavy-duty trucks into its road transportation strategy. The move reflects the growing commercial viability of electrification in long-haul and industrial logistics applications.
Through the partnership, DRIVN will support AVG Logistics with long-term, asset-backed leasing solutions designed to help fleet operators adopt electric trucks at scale. The approach focuses on aligning vehicle selection, operating routes and commercial economics to improve the practicality of fleet electrification.
DRIVN said the collaboration represents another important step toward making electric heavy-duty trucking mainstream in India while enabling established logistics operators to transition to cleaner transportation solutions.
