Ducati Launches Scrambler Icon Dark in India

New Delhi - Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A., a motorcycles manufacturer, has introduced the Scrambler Icon Dark in India, featuring cosmetic upgrades while maintaining its powerful mechanical setup. This new variant delivers Ducati’s signature style and performance at a more accessible price, making it an exciting option for Indian riders.

The Scrambler Icon Dark stands out with its striking all-black design, featuring blacked-out bodywork, cycle parts, and a unique smoked headlamp. While it omits the small underseat cowl found on the standard Icon model, Ducati offers a variety of customization options, including different seats, colored covers, and exhausts, allowing riders to personalize their bike to suit their style.

Despite these subtle changes, the Icon Dark preserves the Scrambler’s signature charm, seamlessly blending its rugged design with Ducati’s distinctive style and performance.

The Scrambler Icon Dark is powered by an 803cc air-cooled twin-cylinder engine, delivering 72bhp and 65.2Nm of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed transmission featuring a quickshifter for smooth gear transitions. The bike comes equipped with a Ride-by-Wire system, offering two riding modes: Road and Sport - along with Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and Cornering ABS for enhanced safety and performance. Additionally, it features a modern 4.3-inch TFT display, providing riders with essential information at a glance.

The Scrambler Icon Dark is built on a sturdy tubular steel trellis frame, ensuring strength and stability. Its suspension setup includes a 41mm USD fork at the front and a rear monoshock with adjustable preload for a balanced and comfortable ride. For braking, the motorcycle is equipped with a 330mm single front disc paired with a 4-piston caliper, while the rear features a 245mm disc with a single-piston caliper, providing reliable stopping power and enhanced safety.
