Borgo Panigale, Bologna, Italy- Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A., has unveiled a new livery for the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak as part of its centenary year celebrations. The new design draws inspiration from Ducati’s official MotoGP and Superbike racing machines, including the Desmosedici GP and Panigale V4 R.
The new livery was created by Centro Stile Ducati in collaboration with Drudi Performance. It combines colours and surface treatments inspired by Ducati’s racing motorcycles, giving the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak a more dynamic appearance. The motorcycle also features several carbon-fibre components, a street-legal titanium Akrapovič silencer, a low smoked windscreen and gold-anodized Öhlins fork sliders.
The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak is equipped with 17-inch forged aluminium wheels, a single-sided swingarm and Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV sports-touring tyres. Its Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension uses event-based electronic adjustment to support sporty riding while also providing comfort for touring. The motorcycle also features an Electronic Combined Braking System.
Power comes from Ducati’s 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine, producing 170 CV (125 kW) at 10,750 rpm and 123.8 Nm at 9,000 rpm. The counter-rotating crankshaft, derived from Ducati Corse MotoGP technology, is designed to reduce the effects of gyroscopic inertia and enhance handling.
The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak also includes a Race Riding Mode, dedicated quickshifter calibration and High Power Mode. Its technology package includes front and rear radar systems, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection and Forward Collision Warning. Through Ducati Factory Made, customers can further personalize the motorcycle with different wheels, brake calipers, seats, carbon-fibre components, auxiliary lights and luggage options.
