      Haryana- Eastman Auto and Power Ltd (EAPL)., an Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing has entered into a strategic partnership with Urja Mobility to supply advanced lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles (EVs) in India. Under this collaboration, Eastman will supply over 20,000 lithium-ion batteries to Urja’s battery leasing service, with a primary focus on electric three-wheelers.

      Urja Mobility, known for its battery leasing model, will incorporate Eastman’s high-performance batteries into its fleet, offering a more affordable and sustainable solution for electric vehicle operators. The partnership also aims to enhance the efficiency of the batteries through the integration of Eastman’s advanced technology alongside Urja’s IoT and software capabilities, enabling remote monitoring and battery management for better performance and longevity.

      This strategic move aligns with the shared vision of both companies to support India's transition to electric mobility. By offering an affordable and reliable battery leasing option, Urja seeks to overcome cost barriers to EV adoption, contributing to India’s green mobility vision.
