Przylesie, Poland Eberspacher., an automotive company, has opening New Plant in Przylesie, Poland, to Manufacture Thermal Management Systems for Electric Buses. The opening ceremony was attended by Eberspacher management, Brzeg District Governor Mr. Jacek Monkiewicz, and Olszanka Mayor Mr. Tymoteusz Drebschok. Spanning 12,500 square meters, production began in December.

Mr. Jorg Steins, CEO Eberspaecher Group, said, "The increasing demand for electric buses requires us to expand our capacities for bus air conditioning systems. With around 30 percent more capacity compared to the previous site, we are ideally positioned for current and future e-mobility orders.”

Mr. Tymoteusz Drebschok, Mayor of the municipality Olszanka, said, “Over the next three to five years, Eberspaecher plans to grow to 150 employees in Przylesie. I believe that this cooperation with such reputable partners will promote the dynamic development of our community.”

Eberspacher’s Bus and Coach Business Unit has been operating in Poland for seven years, initially as part of the Olawa site, where vehicle heaters for all drive types are still produced. Around 100 employees have now moved to the new facility, where relocated production lines and a central spare parts warehouse support the series production of a new thermal management system for electric city buses and coaches. The plant will produce up to 20,000 systems annually for leading international manufacturers.

The new Eberspacher plant at 7R Park Przylesie, just 2 km from the A4/E40 freeway, prioritizes environmental sustainability. It cuts CO₂ emissions by 50% and energy use by 70% compared to typical Polish buildings. Key features include a photovoltaic system and heat pump-based heating and cooling. The facility also hosts production planning, order processing, purchasing, and controlling areas.

In addition to relocating lines from Olawa, Eberspacher is adding two new production lines to manufacture the AC138 EVO thermal management system starting January 2025. This advanced system, designed for hybrid and battery-electric buses, features a patented air circuit reversal and uses the eco-friendly refrigerant CO₂ (R744) for high energy efficiency and low system complexity.
