Delhi- Eicher Motors Ltd., a unit of VE Commercial Vehicles, announced the rollout of its 50,000th fully factory-built bus from its Baggad Plant in Madhya Pradesh. The milestone vehicle, an Eicher Skyline Pro E electric bus, highlights the factory's commitment to India's evolving public transport sector.

Inaugurated in 2013 on 43 acres in Baggad, Madhya Pradesh, Eicher's bus factory produces a wide range of buses, including diesel, CNG, and electric variants for domestic and international markets. It features advanced robotic paint systems and emphasizes sustainability with energy-efficient technologies and 42% renewable energy use, earning accolades like IGBC's Platinum Green Factory and Smart Factory of the Year.
Eicher Trucks and Buses is dedicated to advancing alternative fuels like CNG, LNG, and HCNG, along with electric vehicles. The 50,000th bus, a Skyline Pro-E 9m model, showcases Eicher's latest in electric vehicle technology with high-energy batteries and a quiet, efficient driveline.
