Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar- Eicher Trucks & Buses, a business unit of VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (VECV), has inaugurated its first exclusive Eicher Pro X dealership in East India at Howrah, West Bengal. Operated by Future Automobile Agency Private Limited, the new 3S facility is located at Dey Motors Compound, Chamrail, Kona, along NH-16.
Spread across approximately 8,000 sq. ft., the dealership brings sales, service and spare parts under one roof. It will offer the Eicher Pro X small commercial vehicle range in 3-tonne and 3.5-tonne GVW categories, with EV, diesel and CNG powertrain options.
The facility includes dedicated service bays, a vehicle display area, customer and driver lounges, digital displays and an interactive customisation zone. Customers can configure vehicles according to cargo body requirements, load deck options, fuel type and colour preferences.
Mr. S S Gill, Chief Commercial Officer, VECV, said the new dealership marks an important step in expanding the Pro X ecosystem into Eastern India. He highlighted Howrah and the wider Kolkata region as key industrial and logistics markets with growing demand for efficient last-mile transportation.
Mr. Abhishek Chaudhary, SVP, SCV – Sales & Marketing, VECV, said the Eicher Pro X range has been developed for modern last-mile logistics, with a focus on efficiency, connectivity, driver comfort and uptime. The vehicles are aimed at applications including e-commerce, parcel delivery, FMCG and industrial goods transportation.
The dealership is strategically located near major industrial hubs such as Jalan Industrial Complex, Lakshmanpur Industrial Estate, Sankrail Industrial Park and the Jangalpur–Dhulagarh industrial belt. Its connectivity through NH-16, NH-19, Kona Expressway and the Kolkata Port corridor is expected to support fleet operators across the region.
The facility is also equipped with dedicated EV charging infrastructure and EV-trained technicians. Additional support includes EOS Vans and EOS Bikes for doorstep service, GPS-enabled breakdown assistance and power backup systems, strengthening Eicher’s focus on vehicle uptime and customer support.
