Eicher Partners with Magenta Mobility to Deploy Pro X E-Trucks

New Delhi- Eicher Truck and Bus., a division of VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), has partnered with Magenta Mobility to introduce its newly launched Eicher Pro X small electric trucks in India. As part of a phased rollout, the initial 100-unit order will be deployed across Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai, starting with a 1.7-tonne payload batch. This collaboration aims to electrify last-mile and mid-mile logistics, supporting Magenta Mobility’s mission of decarbonizing India’s supply chain and driving sustainable transportation solutions.

The Eicher Pro X, unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, is specifically designed for the 2-3.5-tonne segment, catering to mid-mile and last-mile delivery needs in industries such as e-commerce, FMCG, and parcel services. Developed in collaboration with leading logistics players, the truck offers a blend of cargo efficiency, energy optimization, and driver-centric features.

The Eicher Pro X offers advanced features designed for operational efficiency and driver comfort, including a spacious cargo area for higher payload capacity, energy-efficient performance with lower consumption and longer range, and driver-centric amenities such as air-conditioned cabins, advanced safety systems, and an industry-leading turning radius for superior urban maneuverability.

To ensure seamless operations, the Eicher Pro X trucks are backed by Eicher’s Uptime Centre, offering 24/7 real-time monitoring with AI/ML-driven remote diagnostics. The trucks feature FOTA-enabled telematics for over-the-air updates, enhancing vehicle performance. Fleet managers can efficiently track and optimize operations through the ‘My Eicher’ app. Additionally, the trucks are supported by Eicher’s extensive service network, comprising 1,000+ touchpoints, 470+ service centers, and 7,000+ parts outlets, ensuring rapid support and minimal downtime.
