Pune- EKA Mobility, an automotive and technology company redefining the commercial EV space, has partnered with Chartered Speed, a passenger bus mobility services provider, to deploy 1,135 electric buses under the Government of India’s Pradhan Mantri e-Bus Sewa Scheme.

The companies recently received a Letter of Confirmation of Quantity (LOCQ) for 235 buses, adding to an earlier confirmation of 900 buses, taking the total to 1,135 buses across India. By combining EKA Mobility’s EV manufacturing expertise with Chartered Speed’s operational capabilities, the partnership aims to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable public transport solutions.

Under the latest allocation of 235 buses, Chartered Speed will procure, operate, and maintain fleets across, Madhya Pradesh – 110 buses, Odisha – 60 buses, Chhattisgarh – 35 buses and Meghalaya – 30 buses

This large-scale deployment underscores a joint commitment to advancing clean mobility solutions and supporting India’s transition to a sustainable transportation future.
