Pune – EKA Mobility (Pinnacle Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd)., has appointed Mr. Sohel Merchant, as Chief Innovation Officer. With over 20 years of experience at leading firms like Canoo, Tesla, Faraday Future, and Ford, Merchant’s appointment bolsters EKA’s leadership and underscores its expanding role in the global EV market.

Sohel Merchant brings extensive expertise in vehicle engineering and program management. As co-founder and CTO at Canoo, he led the development of innovative electric platforms and vehicles, catering to sectors such as commercial applications, the US Department of Defense, and NASA.

Sohel Merchant, a former Tesla contributor to the Model S and Model X, brings extensive global automotive experience to EKA as Chief Innovation Officer. With expertise in EV design and a Master’s in Industrial Engineering, Merchant will drive innovation and strengthen EKA’s position in green mobility.
