Hyderabad- EKA Mobility (Pinnacle Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd.), an electric vehicle manufacturer, has secured two significant orders worth approximately ₹150 crore from the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC).
The orders comprise the supply and maintenance of 40 units of EKA 12, 12-meter AC electric buses, and 30 units of EKA 9, 9-meter AC electric buses. These eco-friendly vehicles aim to enhance UPSRTC's fleet by prioritizing safety, passenger comfort, and operational efficiency. Additionally, the company will provide chargers to support smooth operations. Both projects include a long-term annual maintenance contract (AMC) for the next 10 years to ensure consistent performance.
Mr. Rohit Srivastava, Chief Growth Officer of EKA Mobility, highlighted the company’s dedication to collaborating with UPSRTC to improve public transportation in Uttar Pradesh. He emphasized that these orders underscore EKA Mobility's commitment to delivering sustainable and efficient mobility solutions in India.
The addition of these buses to UPSRTC's fleet is expected to accelerate the state’s transition towards cleaner and more sustainable transportation systems.
