Pune- EKA Mobility, a subsidiary of Pinnacle Industries Limited., a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, has been awarded a Letter of Award (LOA) to supply and deploy 750 units of electric buses across 11 cities in Andhra Pradesh. To execute this large-scale project, EKA Mobility has partnered with GreenCell Mobility, an electric bus mass mobility solution providers.
The deployment will include a mix of 129 nine-meter (9m) and 621 twelve-meter (12m) fully electric buses, transforming public transportation across key urban centers including Amravati, Anantapur, Kadapa, Kakinada, Kurnool, Rajahmundry, Nellore, Guntur, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, and Tirupati.
This significant order follows the recent Letter of Confirmation of Quantity (LOCQ) issued by CESL, and the LOA awarded for 675 electric buses in Rajasthan just last week. Together, these developments mark a major milestone in India’s transition toward sustainable and eco-friendly urban mobility.
