Epiroc Launches Next-Gen COPROD 89 Drill String

Sweden, Europe – Epiroc AB., a mining equipment company, has unveiled its next-generation COPROD 89 drill string, designed to meet the growing demands of surface mining and quarrying. The innovative system merges the speed of tophammer drilling with the precision of DTH (Down-The-Hole) drilling, offering operators the best of both worlds.

The upgraded COPROD 89 drill string delivers a higher Rate of Penetration (ROP) while reducing fuel consumption, thanks to enhanced flushing capabilities. In addition, it features improved wear resistance and simplified maintenance, helping mining operations boost productivity and efficiency.
