Faridabad - Escorts Kubota Limited., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has announced significant upgrades to its MU tractor series, expanding its presence in the 41–50 HP segment of India’s tractor market. The company introduced the new MU4201 model and enhanced the MU4501 and MU5502 with advanced hydraulic systems.

The MU4201, designed by Japanese engineers, marks Escorts Kubota’s entry into the 41–44 HP range. The tractor comes equipped with premium features typically found in higher HP models, including a flat deck, suspended pedals, balancer shaft, synchromesh transmission, and dual clutch. It is compatible with multiple implements such as rotavators, disc harrows, and seed drills, making it suitable for diverse farming operations like ploughing, tilling, and haulage.

In addition, the MU4501 and MU5502 have been upgraded with a new Japanese ‘Pompa Lift’ hydraulic system, offering a lifting capacity of 1,640–2,100 kg and an industry-leading lift height of 455 mm. These enhancements make the tractors highly efficient for heavy-duty implements.

Mr. Nikhil Nanda, Chairman & Managing Director, said, “These new products align with our vision to establish Escorts Kubota as a formidable player in the domestic market, by delivering engineering excellence and cutting-edge features. The MU4201 and upgraded models strengthen our offerings in the 41–50 HP segment.”

Mr. Akira Kato, Deputy Managing Director, said, “the 41–50 HP segment accounts for nearly 60–64% of India’s tractor market, and the MU4201 caters to farmers seeking premium technology and versatility”.

With these additions, Escorts Kubota continues to build on the MU series’ legacy of fuel efficiency, durability, and reliability while addressing the growing demand for versatile and advanced tractors in India’s competitive farm machinery sector.
