Haryana - Escorts Kubota Limited., a tractor manufacturer, has launched the Kubota NeoStar compact tractor series in the 21–30 HP segment, targeting horticulture, sugarcane, vineyard and orchard applications across Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.

The NeoStar range is positioned under the premium Kubota brand and caters mainly to the 21–27 HP category, a fast-growing compact tractor segment supported by rising horticulture mechanisation.

The series is available in two configurations. The NeoStar narrow variant, with a width of around 2.98 ft, is designed for sugarcane and narrow inter-row operations, while the standard NeoStar is suited for vineyards, orchards and multi-crop use in confined spaces.

Key features include power steering across all models, Eco PTO for better fuel efficiency, compact design and improved ergonomics. The tractors are suitable for interculture, spraying, haulage, rotavator and loader applications.

Mr. Nikhil Nanda, Chairman and Managing Director, said, “The NeoStar range will help the company capture incremental share in high-growth horticulture belts while strengthening customer trust in the Kubota brand.”

Mr. Akira Kato, Deputy Managing Director, said, “The series brings Japanese technology and engineering reliability to Indian horticulture farmers, with features such as Eco PTO, power steering and narrow-width design aimed at improving productivity.”

Mr. Rajan Chugh, Chief Officer, Tractor Division, said, “The NeoStar narrow 27 HP category variant can move comfortably through narrow sugarcane rows without crop damage, making it suitable for orchard and confined-space farming.”
