Faridabad - Escorts Kubota Limited., has reported strong sales performance for its Agri Machinery Business in July 2026, with total tractor sales reaching 8,731 units, representing a 22.0% year-on-year increase compared to 7,154 units sold in July 2025.
The company's domestic business remained the key growth driver during the month. Escorts Kubota sold 8,194 tractors in the Indian market, up 23.7% from 6,624 units recorded in July 2025. The company attributed the strong domestic performance to sustained demand across both wholesale and retail channels. Improved monsoon conditions during July reduced the overall rainfall deficit to approximately 14–15%, while accelerated Kharif sowing activities strengthened rural sentiment and supported higher tractor demand across key agricultural regions.
Export performance remained broadly stable during the month. Escorts Kubota exported 537 tractors in July 2026, marginally higher than 530 units shipped in July 2025, reflecting a 1.3% year-on-year growth.
For the April–July FY2026–27 period, Escorts Kubota recorded cumulative tractor sales of 45,593 units, compared with 37,735 units during the corresponding period of FY2025–26, representing an overall growth of 20.8%. Domestic sales continued to lead the company's growth trajectory, while export volumes were lower on a cumulative basis over the four-month period.
The company's tractor brands, Powertrac and Farmtrac, maintained positive market momentum during July, supported by improving agricultural conditions and healthy demand across farming communities. Better rainfall and faster crop sowing activities enhanced farmer confidence, contributing to sustained demand for agricultural machinery and reinforcing the positive outlook for the domestic tractor market.
