Faridabad - Escorts Kubota Limited., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has reported its highest-ever monthly tractor sales in September 2025, selling 18,267 units, up 47.6% from 12,380 units in September 2024.
The surge comes amid favorable rural conditions, above-average monsoon rains, improved water levels, and an early festive season. Recent GST reductions on tractors and farm machinery also contributed to stronger demand.
In September 2025, domestic sales reached 17,803 tractors, a 48.5% increase from 11,985 units sold in September 2024. Exports for the month stood at 464 tractors, up 17.5% from 395 units last year.
For Q2 FY26 (July–September), Escorts Kubota sold 33,877 tractors, marking a 30.3% growth over 25,995 units in Q2 FY25. Domestic sales rose to 32,329 units, up 30.5%, while exports reached 1,548 tractors, a 26.2% increase from the previous year.
During the first six months of FY26, Escorts Kubota sold a total of 64,458 tractors, up 14.4% from 56,365 units in the same period last year. Domestic sales accounted for 61,177 tractors, reflecting a 12.9% increase, while exports surged 50% to 3,281 units, highlighting strong international growth.
The company expects continued strong demand for the rest of the year, driven by favorable agricultural conditions and government incentives.
