Faridabad - Escorts Kubota Limited., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, reported robust sales in August 2025, with 8,456 tractors sold, reflecting a strong 27.1% growth compared to 6,652 units in August 2024.
Domestic sales contributed 7,902 units, up 26.6% from 6,243 units last year. The company credited this surge to favorable monsoon rains, improved reservoir levels, strong kharif sowing, and the early onset of the festive season. Expectations of a possible GST reduction on tractors and farm equipment are also anticipated to further fuel demand in the coming months.
Exports remained a key growth driver, with 554 tractors shipped in August 2025, a sharp 35.5% increase over 409 units exported in the same month last year.
During the April–August 2025 period, Escorts Kubota sold a total of 46,191 tractors, recording a 5% increase from 43,985 units sold in the same period last year. Domestic sales stood at 43,374 units, up 2.8% from 42,192 units a year ago, while exports surged 57.1% to 2,817 units against 1,793 units in April–August 2024.
With strong domestic momentum and a significant boost in exports, Escorts Kubota has reinforced its growth trajectory in both Indian and global markets.
