Faridabad - Escorts Kubota Limited’s Agri Machinery Business reported total tractor sales of 13,695 units in June 2026, registering a 19.1% increase compared with 11,498 units sold in June 2025.

Domestic tractor sales remained the main growth driver during the month. The company sold 13,172 tractors in India, up 19.8% from 10,997 units recorded in the corresponding month last year. The increase was supported by stronger wholesale and retail demand, along with the commencement of Kharif sowing activities across several agricultural regions.

Exports also recorded moderate growth. Escorts Kubota shipped 523 tractors during June 2026, compared with 501 units in June 2025, representing an increase of 4.4%.

For the April–June quarter of FY2026–27, the company reported cumulative tractor sales of 36,862 units. This was 20.5% higher than the 30,581 tractors sold during the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

The company’s performance reflects continued strength in the domestic tractor market despite weather-related uncertainties affecting the agricultural sector. Stable rural fundamentals, adequate reservoir levels and improving farm activity supported demand during the quarter.

However, Escorts Kubota indicated that growth could moderate in the coming quarters, depending on the progress of the monsoon, the pace of Kharif sowing and rising agricultural input costs. Delayed rainfall and concerns regarding possible El Niño-related weather conditions could also influence farmer sentiment and tractor purchases.

Despite these challenges, the overall outlook for the tractor industry remains positive, supported by healthy rural demand, improved retail activity and favourable agricultural fundamentals.
