Euler Motors has unveiled the Storm EV Long Range 200 and T1250 electric cargo vehicles, both with a 1250 kg payload capacity, designed for intercity and intracity use, respectively.
Date: September 25, 2024Noida- Euler Motors Private Limited., an electric commercial vehicle manufacturer, has officially launched two new models of its Storm EV electric cargo vehicles, designed for both intercity and intracity applications. The Storm EV Long Range 200, aimed at intercity use, and the Storm EV T1250, intended for intracity transport, both feature a payload capacity of 1250 kg, marking the company’s entry into the 4W Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) segment.
These models introduce Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to the LCV market in India for the first time, along with ten other innovative features unique to this segment.
The Storm EV Long Range 200 stands out as the first vehicle in its category tailored for intercity transport, boasting an impressive real range (RR) of 200 kilometers. This enables efficient cargo movement between nearby cities, such as Delhi to Jaipur or Chennai to Vellore. Equipped with CCS fast charging, the vehicle can achieve a 100 km range with just 15 minutes of charging, complemented by a 10 ft body length and a volumetric capacity of 330 cubic feet. Its 8-leaf rear suspension ensures smooth transport for various cargo types.
Safety is a top priority for Euler Motors, and the Storm EV series addresses this by introducing ADAS features like Night Vision Assist (NVA) and front and reverse camera collision alerts. NVA provides clear imaging of road obstacles even in complete darkness, allowing drivers to extend their operational hours safely. The camera alerts enhance on-road safety by notifying drivers of potential obstacles and traffic light changes.
Developed based on feedback from 4W commercial vehicle owners across India, the Storm EV T1250 introduces 11 new features to the LCV segment, some even surpassing those found in traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. These features aim to help customers maximize their earnings, achieve better total cost of ownership (TCO), and ensure enhanced safety.
Mr. Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO of Euler Motors, said excitement about entering the 4W LCV segment with these EV models. He stated, “We are committed to maximizing customer earnings daily while enabling them to expand their operations into the intercity market—an area previously lacking EV options. Customers seek to optimize their earnings without incurring excessive costs compared to ICE vehicles. The Storm EV not only matches the price of its ICE counterparts but also surpasses them by offering superior performance, efficiency, and safety.”
