Vienna, United States - EVerged LLC., an energy technology company, has announced a strategic partnership with AMPECO, a provider of EV charging management platforms, to accelerate the deployment of more than 5,000 EV charging points across the United States within the next two years. The collaboration aims to expand both public and private charging networks while addressing one of the EV industry’s most pressing challenges: charging reliability.
The partnership began with EVerged managing San Diego’s public EV charging network, which required integration of all municipal chargers under a single platform. Under a five-year agreement with the San Diego City Council, EVerged will oversee the installation of approximately 4,000 charging stations 2,500 in public spaces and 1,500 at municipal facilities. This initial project demonstrated AMPECO’s robust platform capabilities and has laid the groundwork for EVerged’s nationwide expansion, targeting key metropolitan areas.
A critical issue across the EV landscape is the downtime of charging stations, which can remain offline for weeks, leading to revenue loss and negative user experiences. AMPECO’s platform directly addresses this challenge by offering real-time monitoring, instant alerts, and remote diagnostics that resolve 70–80% of issues without requiring on-site visits. These features ensure high uptime and consistent service delivery.
In addition to reliable operation, the platform provides tools to enhance customer engagement. EVerged can use AMPECO’s integrated promotional features to launch campaigns such as free charging events, which increase station usage and improve user satisfaction. The platform’s advanced partner management capabilities, including custom dashboards and reporting tools, also help EVerged scale efficiently while catering to diverse operational and stakeholder requirements.
This partnership exemplifies how advanced software and strategic deployment can work together to overcome infrastructure challenges and drive EV adoption. As EVerged expands its footprint across North America, the collaboration with AMPECO is setting new standards for operational excellence and sustainable transportation infrastructure.
Mr. Peter Ruzich, COO at EVerged "AMPECO's platform gives us instant visibility when chargers go down and resolves most issues remotely, dramatically improving our operational efficiency. We can now provide the reliable charging experience drivers expect while scaling at the pace the market demands."
Mr. Jefferson W. Smith, CEO of EVerged, said, "This partnership marks a turning point in how we approach EV charging at scale. By integrating AMPECO's powerful platform, we're eliminating the reliability issues that have plagued the industry and building a foundation for EV infrastructure that is resilient, scalable, and driver-first. It's a leap forward not just for EVerged, but for the future of clean transportation across North America."
Mr. Michael Greenberg, Senior Vice President Growth at AMPECO, said, "EVerged exemplifies the forward-thinking companies driving change in North America's EV charging landscape. Their focus on reliability and driver experience aligns perfectly with our mission to provide flexible, scalable software for successful EV charging operations. We're proud to support their ambitious growth with our hardware-agnostic platform."
