Overijssel, Netherlands - Evers Agro B.V., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has introduced the Quadro Disc umbilical combi-disc slurry injector, combining the company’s advanced slurry injection technology with the benefits of umbilical application. The new system is designed to deliver minimal soil compaction, higher operational capacity, and improved field accessibility, even on softer or less load-bearing terrain.
The new umbilical design makes the slurry injector lighter and more maneuverable than previous models. The drag hose is mounted directly to the applicator’s main frame, allowing the pulling force to be transferred through the central frame. This ensures an optimal pulling line and prevents the hose from influencing disc or tine performance, maintaining consistent application and slurry distribution across varying field conditions.
A centrally positioned pivot point enhances maneuverability, while the umbilical arm—constructed as a two-part box section with a 4-inch slurry pipe—rotates smoothly over the machine. The arm’s free-moving end offers added flexibility during headland turns. The design prevents pulling stress on the slurry pipe, minimizing wear and extending service life.
The Quadro Disc features a downward-sloping arm and built-in cylinder for smooth hose guidance and pressure absorption on hilly terrain. An optional ISOBUS-compatible flow meter, headland management, and AUX-N functions provide precise, user-friendly control. The foldable umbilical arm improves transport and setup for widths up to 6.5 meters mechanically or larger hydraulically.
With the Quadro Disc, Evers Agro reinforces its commitment to delivering innovative, high-performance slurry management solutions designed to optimize productivity while protecting soil health.
