FADA Appoints Mr. C.S. Vigneshwar as 37th President for 2024-26

FADA has appointed Mr. C.S. Vigneshwar as its 37th President for 2024-26. The Governing Council also elected Mr. Sai Giridhar as Vice President, Mr. Amar Jatin Sheth as Secretary, and Mr. Pradeep Agarwal as Treasurer. FADA extends thanks to outgoing President Mr. Manish Raj Singhania for his leadership.

FADA Appoints Mr. C.S. Vigneshwar as 37th President for 2024-26

New Delhi- The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), the apex national body of automobile retail in India, they announced the appointment of Mr. C S Vigneshwar as FADA’s 37th President and for the years 2024-26. The decision was made at the 315th Governing Council Meeting, which was held immediately after the 60th Annual General Meeting.

Mr. Vigneshwar, Managing Director of Anaamalais Toyota in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, also oversees dealerships for Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles and Ather Energy. His ARC group spans various sectors including transportation, water, packaged foods, green energy, farming, FMCG, and education, with a strong emphasis on environmental and CSR initiatives.

Mr. Vigneshwar has been a key figure in the automotive industry, serving on the VECV Apex Consultative Committee for 16 years, Toyota Dealer Council for 11 years (including 7 years as Head of the Toyota India Service Dealer Council), and FADA for 12 years. He is also the Area Commander for Home Guards in Coimbatore City.

For 2024-26, FADA's Governing Council has elected, Mr. Sai Giridhar of Saisha Motors Pvt. Ltd. as Vice President., Mr. Amar Jatin Sheth of Group Shaman as Secretary & Mr. Pradeep Agarwal of JMG Group as Treasurer.

FADA extends its gratitude to outgoing President Mr. Manish Raj Singhania for his significant contributions to industry reforms and dealer advocacy.

Mr. Manish Raj Singhania said, "Serving as FADA's President during this transformative period has been a great honor. Over the past two years, we've made strides with the Model Dealer Agreement, with adoption by major brands and progress with others. Our collaboration with financial institutions has improved dealer-financial partner relations. Notably, our push for focusing on retail figures over wholesale, an initiative we started six years ago, is now gaining OEM recognition. As I hand over to Mr. C.S. Vigneshwar, I'm confident his leadership will further advance FADA and the auto retail sector in India."

Mr. C S Vigneshwar said, "Celebrating 60 years, FADA looks to the future with initiatives like the Retail Protection Act and Model Dealer Agreement to ensure dealership growth. Our mission is to enhance dealerships, drive growth, and strengthen industry ties. With over 15,000 dealerships and 30,000+ outlets employing 5 million people, we aim to shape the future of auto retail in India and create a lasting impact."
