Fondo, Italy - FAE Group S.p.A., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has upgraded its MTL multitask head series, now compatible with larger tractors up to 300 horsepower and featuring a new MTL-250 width. The expanded lineup also includes the MTL-150, MTL-175, MTL-200, and MTL-225 models.
Designed for road maintenance and upgrading of dirt, gravel, and asphalt surfaces, the MTL performs soil stabilization, asphalt and rock shredding, and stone crushing to a maximum depth of 11 inches. Its variable-geometry grinding chamber, adjustable hood grill, and Hardox counter blade ensure consistent, homogenized soil at all working depths.
Durability is enhanced through internal protection plates on the frame and a central gearbox with a universal-joint alignment system, making the head compatible with most tractors. Operators can monitor depth directly from the cab via the depth indicator.
Standard features include a hydraulic rear hood, enclosed dust-resistant body, bolt-on interchangeable protection chains, and a spring-equipped dozing blade. The MTL heads are available in working widths of 58, 68, 77, 87, or 96 inches, with standard G/3 teeth and optional G/3/HD teeth or R/65 and R/65/HD picks on a dedicated rotor.
