Fondo, Italy - FAE Group S.p.A., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has expanded its innovative product lineup with the launch of the RWL/SSL wheel saw, specifically designed for skid steers in the 50–75 hp range. The new attachment aims to provide contractors and utility operators with precise and efficient trenching solutions for a wide range of applications, including electrical, water, gas, and fibre optic line installations.

The RWL/SSL wheel saw can cut trenches up to 14 inches deep and offers modular widths of 1, 1.2, or 2 inches, allowing operators to tailor cuts to the specific needs of each project. This flexibility makes it a versatile choice for urban infrastructure work, where accuracy and minimal disruption are critical.

Key features of the wheel saw include a depth indicator, enabling operators to maintain exact trench depths, and self-levelling skids that help ensure a consistent cut while keeping the trench free of debris. Additionally, optimized side output prevents material buildup, improving overall efficiency on the jobsite.

For enhanced operational performance, the attachment can be fitted with a Basic WSS (Water Spray System), which helps reduce dust and cool cutting teeth during heavy-duty operation. This feature is particularly valuable for projects in urban or environmentally sensitive areas.

Designed for ease of use, the RWL/SSL integrates seamlessly with standard hydraulic and electrical setups, providing plug-and-play compatibility with most leading skid steer models.

By combining precision engineering, ease of operation, and versatility, the RWL/SSL wheel saw positions FAE at the forefront of skid-steer attachments, enabling operators to complete demanding trenching tasks with speed, accuracy, and reduced maintenance requirements.
