Fondo, Italy - FAE Group S.p.A., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has expanded its compact mulcher lineup with the introduction of the BL0/EX-100, the latest addition to its BL0/EX series of fixed-tooth forestry mulchers for 2–4 tonne mini excavators.
Among the smallest fixed-tooth mulchers on the market, the BL0/EX series can shred light vegetation, shrubs, and trees up to 8 cm in diameter. This makes it suitable for a range of applications including roadside and railway maintenance, canal and riverbank clearing, wildlife habitat management, and upkeep of commercial parks and sports fields.
Engineered for high productivity and easy servicing, the BL0/EX features Bite Limiter technology - a rotor design with wear-resistant steel profiles that limit the bite of the teeth. This reduces power demand, maintains a steady working speed, and helps prevent rotor stalling, all while optimizing fuel consumption during shredding operations.
The mulcher’s Direct Drive motor minimizes maintenance needs and contributes to a compact, maneuverable design. Its clean profile is further supported by a built-in hydraulic block with flow regulator valve and a thumb bracket integrated into the frame.
The new BL0/EX-100 joins the existing BL0/EX-50 and BL0/EX-75 models, offering greater flexibility in working widths. The range can be fitted with either BL/MINI blades or C/3/MINI teeth to suit different operating conditions.
With this latest addition, FAE continues to enhance its compact mulcher offering, bringing high-efficiency vegetation management to even the smallest machines.
