FAE RCU120 introduces powerful 120-hp remote-controlled carrier for tough terrains

Fondo, Italy- FAE Group S.p.A., a design and manufactures machinery for the agricultural, forestry, road, and demining industries, has expanded its RCPU range with the RCPU120, a compact 120-hp remote-controlled tracked carrier designed for challenging, hard-to-reach areas and steep slopes where operator safety is a priority. Equipped with a dual hydraulic system and extendable tracks, the RCPU120 offers enhanced productivity and efficiency in rugged terrains like hills and forests, as well as in sensitive areas such as near railroad tracks, power lines, pipelines, gardens, roads, highways, and bodies of water like rivers and lakes.

This new FAE tracked carrier features a powerful and fuel-efficient Kohler 120-hp common rail electronic fuel injection engine that meets the latest emission standards.

Its heavy-duty undercarriage boasts a variable hydraulic design with independent rollers and an automatic tensioning system. With high-profile rubber tracks (3.3-inch spacing and 12.6-inch width), the RCPU120 provides exceptional traction, even in the toughest conditions. It can work on slopes up to 55 degrees, and an optional steel track upgrade further enhances traction on particularly challenging terrain.

The dual hydrostatic transmission of the RCPU120 allows simultaneous control of traction and attachments. The electronically controlled piston pumps, combined with a dedicated control unit, form a high-performance, integrated system ensuring reliability and ease of use.

The RCPU120 is operated via a wireless remote control with a 4.3-inch display for managing all vehicle and attachment functions. The remote’s customizable function keys, 2.4 GHz transmission frequency, and ergonomic shoulder strap ensure comfortable and efficient operation.

As the first FAE compact remote-controlled tracked carrier equipped with Sonic technology-integrated forestry mulching, the RCPU120 enhances equipment performance, boosting productivity by up to 30%.

The RCPU120 can be fitted with various FAE attachments, including forestry mulchers, stump cutters, stone crushers, and road millers. Additionally, its SAE connection allows compatibility with third-party equipment.

The RCPU120 is also compatible with the FAE app, giving users real-time access to diagnostic notifications, maintenance reminders, and key operating parameters directly from their smartphones.
