Marktoberdorf, Germany - Fendt Tractor., a brand of AGCO and an agricultural machinery manufacturer, is set to begin a new chapter in the Balkan region with the appointment of Inter Agrar as its official distributor and service partner for Slovenia, Croatia, and Serbia, effective September 1, 2025. Inter Agrar is a newly established subsidiary of the German Schroder Group., marking a significant expansion for the long-standing Fendt partner.

This transition comes as Interexport, the previous distributor, has sold its entire agricultural machinery division to the Schroder Group. All existing employees, dealer locations, and customer relationships will transfer seamlessly to Inter Agrar, ensuring continuity in operations and service. All contracts and business arrangements—past and present—will remain valid under the new company structure.

Mr. Dennis Schoder, Managing Director of the Schroder Group, said, “We are delighted that we can offer a distribution network for farmers and contractors in Slovenia, Croatia, and Serbia through Inter Agrar. Together with the existing and motivated workforce, we will continue to offer excellent service to our customers in the future. With Inter Agrar, we are now starting a new chapter with good products, open communication, and mutual trust, as we have always practiced in our family business.”

Dr. Dominic Esser, Director Sales Fendt EME, said, “Schroder and Fendt have been working together for more than 60 years. Our companies have grown together and continuously professionalized in the interests of our customers so that we can offer the products and services they want.”

Starting September 2025, Inter Agrar will become the exclusive distributor for the full Fendt lineup in the three Balkan countries - including tractors, combine harvesters, balers, mowers, tedders, forage harvesters, and sprayers. Notably, Valtra, another AGCO brand, has already enjoyed a successful 10-year partnership with Inter Agrar, underscoring the group’s strength in the region.

With this strategic change, Fendt aims to strengthen its presence and customer service in Southeast Europe, building on trusted relationships and a shared vision of professionalism and reliability.
