Maranello, Italy - Ferrari S.p.A, a luxury sports car manufacturer, has unveiled the new Amalfi Spider, a 2+ convertible from Maranello powered by a front-mid-mounted twin-turbo V8 engine. Designed for drivers seeking a more engaging open-top experience without sacrificing comfort or style, the model combines strong performance with the practicality needed for daily use and longer journeys.

Reflecting Ferrari’s open-top sporting lifestyle, the Amalfi Spider offers a balance of driving pleasure, ease of use, and refined design. With the roof down, it delivers a closer connection to the road while still maintaining the comfort and usability expected from a grand touring Ferrari.

Its design preserves the graceful proportions and flowing silhouette of the Ferrari Amalfi, even in convertible form. The soft top gives the car a distinct identity within Ferrari’s lineup and offers extensive personalisation choices, including multiple fabric colours and finishes. Optional contrast stitching further enhances both its sporty appeal and premium feel.

The soft top can open in just 13.5 seconds and works at speeds of up to 60 km/h. Its compact folding design helps retain practicality, with generous luggage space available whether the roof is open or closed. A five-layer fabric construction provides strong acoustic and thermal insulation, delivering comfort comparable to Ferrari’s retractable hard-top models.

Inside, the cabin features a dual-cockpit layout and an updated driver-focused interface. Physical steering-wheel controls, the return of the iconic start button, and an integrated central display improve usability and driving interaction. The 2+ seating layout adds flexibility, allowing space for children or extra luggage, while an integrated wind deflector improves open-air comfort by reducing cabin turbulence.

The exterior follows a clean and sculpted design language that highlights both modernity and performance. A wide front air intake and long bonnet emphasize the 640 hp twin-turbo V8, while the rear features an integrated active spoiler for added stability at speed. Forged wheels and carbon-fibre detailing complete the Amalfi Spider’s sporty yet sophisticated character.

The Ferrari Amalfi Spider, created by the Ferrari Design Studio led by Flavio Manzoni, combines elegant styling with open-top sportiness. Its 2+ spider layout and fabric soft top preserve the sleek proportions of the coupé, delivering a clean, sculpted look whether the roof is open or closed. Ferrari has also introduced a new Rosso Tramonto exterior shade, inspired by the warm tones of the Amalfi Coast at sunset.

Inside, the cabin follows a minimalist dual-cockpit design that enhances both sportiness and comfort. The layout creates distinct spaces for driver and passenger, while premium materials, aluminium detailing, and soft-top-matched trim add a strong sense of continuity between the exterior and interior.

The Amalfi Spider features a more intuitive driver-focused interface with a new steering wheel using physical buttons, the return of Ferrari’s iconic start button, and three digital displays for the driver, central functions, and passenger. Connectivity features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless charging, and MyFerrari Connect.

Its lightweight fabric roof opens in 13.5 seconds at speeds of up to 60 km/h, while maintaining strong comfort, sound insulation, and luggage practicality. Aerodynamic elements such as the active rear spoiler, optimized diffuser, and integrated wind deflector help improve stability, efficiency, and open-top comfort.

Power comes from Ferrari’s latest 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8, producing 640 hp, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Advanced chassis systems, brake-by-wire technology, upgraded driving dynamics controls, and a full suite of ADAS features ensure the Amalfi Spider delivers a refined yet highly engaging driving experience.

Ferrari also supports the model with its seven-year Genuine Maintenance programme, covering regular servicing and ensuring long-term performance and reliability
