Finlay Launches High-Performance J-1280 Jaw Crusher

Omagh, Ireland – Finlay., a brand of Terex and a crushing, screening, and conveying equipment manufacturer, has introduced the J-1280 jaw crusher, a new model that strikes a balance between size, performance, and mobility. Positioned between the popular J-1175 and the larger J-1480, the J-1280 offers high-capacity performance in a more transport-friendly design, making it ideal for medium-sized quarries and large contractors looking to maximize efficiency without compromising on portability.

At the heart of the J-1280 is a powerful 1200mm x 820mm jaw chamber, built to handle demanding hard rock applications with ease. Despite its robust capabilities, the J-1280 has been designed to be lighter than the J-1480, simplifying transport logistics and expanding access to jobsites where larger machines may face restrictions.

A key feature of the J-1280 is its hydrostatic drive system, enabling continuous reverse operation for fast, safe blockage clearing without manual intervention. It also offers three configurable feed-in options - standard VGF, pre-screen, and extended pan feeder with pre-screen - allowing operators to tailor performance for throughput, fines removal, or feed consistency.
