Gabriel India appoints a new Chief Technical Officer

Pune- Gabriel India Limited., an automotive components manufacturer, has announce the appointment of Mr. Prashanth SN as the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of the Company, effective April 1, 2025. With an illustrious career spanning 25 years in the automotive industry, Prashanth brings a wealth of expertise in advanced vehicle technologies, safety, and ride dynamics.

Currently serving as the Vice President of Research & Development at TVS Motor Company since 2020, Prashanth has played a crucial role in driving innovation and technological advancements. His academic background in Computer Science and Engineering (B.E. from Bangalore University) has been instrumental in shaping his distinguished career.

Prashanth’s extensive experience includes a remarkable 14-year tenure at Bosch, where he worked in Japan and Germany. At Bosch, he contributed significantly to the development of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and advanced chassis control systems, reinforcing his position as a pioneer in the field of automotive technology. His leadership in Bosch’s global advanced engineering initiatives and cross-business unit systems has further demonstrated his capability in leading transformative projects.

Apart from his leadership roles at TVS and Bosch, Prashanth began his career as a Product Development Engineer at Kernel Techno Soft, where he gained hands-on experience in cutting-edge automotive technologies. His deep knowledge of both two-wheeler and four-wheeler markets, coupled with his expertise in disruptive automotive innovations, makes him an invaluable addition to our leadership team.

As the CTO, Prashanth will spearhead the company’s technical vision, drive research and development initiatives, and ensure we remain at the forefront of automotive innovation.
