LIWA OASIS, United Arab Emirates - Genesis Motor Company., has revealed its new X Skorpio Concept, designed and manufactured by Genesis, in the Rub’ al Khali “Empty Quarter” desert, showcasing real-world off-road performance in extreme terrain. The event marked the brand’s entry into the extreme off-road luxury segment and highlighted its future design direction.
The X Skorpio Concept, inspired by a black scorpion, is Genesis’ first purpose-built extreme off-road vehicle. It combines rugged capability with premium luxury design and was displayed alongside the GV60 Outdoors Concept, GV70 Outdoors Concept and GV80 Desert Edition, reflecting the company’s focus on adventure-oriented mobility.
Built for demanding environments, the concept features a tubular frame, full roll cage, off-road tires and motorsport-grade braking systems. These elements, manufactured by Genesis, are designed to deliver stability, safety and control while driving through harsh desert conditions.
Genesis also announced its new concept car strategy, based on the themes of Luxury, Sport and Cool, to strengthen emotional connections with customers. The UAE debut emphasizes the importance of the Middle East market and Genesis’ goal to combine innovation, performance and elegant design in its future vehicles.
