Washington, USA - Genielifts., a brand of Terex Corporation, has expanded its aerial lift portfolio with the launch of Genie Recon, a new reconditioning business designed to offer customers like-new Genie machines at a significantly lower cost than purchasing new equipment.
The cost-effective reconditioning program is based at a dedicated facility in Springfield, Missouri, where factory-trained specialists refurbish used machines through a structured, manufacturing-grade process. Each unit undergoes comprehensive inspections, functional testing and targeted upgrades using Genie Genuine Parts, ensuring consistent performance, safety and reliability comparable to new equipment.
Genie said the reconditioning process follows the same quality benchmarks applied during original manufacturing, delivering dependable outcomes across every unit. To further support customers, all Genie Recon machines are backed by a three-year warranty, providing added confidence and long-term value.
Ms. Amalija Kopac, product director – reconditioned products at Genie, said, “By adding high-quality, like-new equipment to their fleets at a lower acquisition price, customers can boost the return on their investment. We’re excited to offer a solution that blends affordability with the dependability of Genie engineering.”
At launch, the program includes Genie S-65 and S-85 telescopic boom lifts, which are now available as reconditioned units for customers across North America.
With Genie Recon, the company aims to provide contractors and fleet owners a practical alternative to new equipment purchases while maintaining the performance standards expected from the Genie brand.
