Dubai, UAE - Chery Group., a Chinese automotive company, has officially unveiled the iCAUR V27 hybrid SUV, marking the global debut of its new international new-energy brand, iCAUR. The launch signals Chery’s strong intent to expand its presence across the Middle East and other global markets.
The iCAUR V27 is positioned as a mid-to-large range-extended hybrid SUV, combining electric driving efficiency with long-distance capability. Equipped with an advanced range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) powertrain, the V27 offers over 150 km of pure electric range and a total driving range exceeding 1,000 km, making it suitable for both city commuting and long highway journeys.
In terms of design, the V27 features a bold, boxy SUV silhouette with a commanding road presence. Measuring over five metres in length with a long wheelbase, the SUV blends rugged styling with premium design elements. Inside, the cabin follows iCAUR’s “Stellar Cockpit” concept, offering a high-tech layout, panoramic sunroof and a focus on comfort, connectivity and modern digital interfaces.
Chery Group highlighted that the V27 has undergone extensive global testing, covering more than one million kilometres across varied terrains and climates, ensuring durability and reliability for international markets.
The Dubai launch represents a strategic milestone for iCAUR, with the brand planning phased rollouts across GCC countries and other global regions over the coming year. The V27 is expected to play a key role in strengthening Chery’s global new-energy vehicle portfolio.
