Chandigarh – Goodyear India Ltd., a tires manufacturer, has expanded its farm tyre portfolio with the launch of the new Ultra Grip tractor tyre, designed to deliver stronger traction, durability and longer service life for Indian farming conditions.
The tyre was introduced at a product showcase in Chandigarh, attended by nearly 100 dealers and channel partners. Built for challenging field use, the Ultra Grip features a deeper tread pattern for improved grip across different soil conditions, along with puncture-resistant construction and a cut- and chip-resistant compound for better performance on rough terrain.
The tyre also offers improved stability, helping tractor operators maintain better control during daily agricultural operations.
Arvind Bhandari, Managing Director of Goodyear India, said the launch reflects the company’s focus on meeting farmers’ growing demand for reliable and durable tyres as farming practices become more intensive.
The Ultra Grip tractor tyre is currently available in the 14.9-28 size, with more sizes planned in the coming months. It will be sold through Goodyear India’s dealer network across key agricultural markets.
Goodyear India has been operating in the country for over 104 years and manufactures farm and commercial truck tyres at its Ballabgarh facility in Faridabad.
