Mumbai- Greaves Cotton Limited., has appointed Mr. Parag Satpute as its new Managing Director & Group Chief Executive Officer, as well as Key Managerial Personnel, effective 14th April 2025. The appointment is for a term of five years, pending shareholder and regulatory approvals. The new leader will oversee operations across Greaves Engineering, Greaves Retail, Greaves Finance, Greaves Technologies, and Excel Controlinkage.
Mr. Satpute brings over 29 years of extensive experience to the table. Since December 2022, he has been serving as President of the Fleet Business within the Global Business Unit of Bridgestone Mobility Solutions, based in Europe. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2022, he led Bridgestone's India operations as Managing Director, driving a comprehensive business transformation for the Indian entity.
Before his tenure at Bridgestone, Mr. Satpute spent two decades with M/S Sandvik (1997–2017), beginning as a Product Manager and rising to the position of Managing Director & Chairman of the Board (Subsidiaries) for India in 2014. During his time at Sandvik, he held numerous leadership roles, both domestically and globally.
An accomplished professional, Mr. Satpute holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Pune University and an Executive MBA from Warwick Business School.
