Bengaluru- Greaves Electric Mobility (GEM)., the electric mobility arm of Greaves Cotton Limited (GCL), has announced its entry into the Nepal market as part of its global expansion strategy. The company has partnered with STC Auto Solution Private Limited to launch its flagship electric scooter, Ampere Nexus, marking a key step in its international growth.
The Ampere Nexus is designed to handle Nepal’s challenging terrain and riding conditions, including steep gradients, uneven roads, and high-altitude environments. It has proven its performance by conquering the 70-hairpin bends of Kolli Hills and completing high-altitude climbs such as Shipki La Pass.
Built for performance, durability, and rider comfort, the Ampere Nexus offers strong torque delivery, stable ride quality, and an LFP battery for reliable uphill performance, smooth acceleration, and consistent control across different terrains.

The scooter features a 7-inch TFT touchscreen with Nex.io connectivity, providing navigation, turn-by-turn directions, call connectivity, music control, and real-time vehicle monitoring. The Ampere Connect Companion app also enables vehicle tracking and battery health monitoring.
Greaves Electric Mobility plans to expand its presence further in Nepal, strengthening its commitment to the country’s growing electric mobility market.
