Date: March 1, 2025Gujarat - Gromax Agri Equipment Ltd., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has introduced a new tractor range to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Gromax operates as a joint venture between Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., and the Government of Gujarat.
Gromax has unveiled new 4WD tractor models, the Trakstar 525 and Trakstar 536, along with 2WD variants in 24HP, 31HP, and 36HP, targeting the orchard segment.
The Trakstar 525 is a 24 HP tractor powered by a 1.5L, 3-cylinder engine, designed for efficient performance in orchard and small-scale farming. It features a sliding mesh transmission with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears, ensuring smooth operation and ease of control. The tractor is equipped with mechanical or power steering for improved handling, while its hydraulic lifting capacity supports various farm implements. With a compact wheelbase for better maneuverability and a fuel-efficient engine, the Trakstar 525 is built for reliability and productivity in diverse agricultural applications.
The Trakstar 536 is powered by a 2.5L, 3-cylinder diesel engine, delivering 36 HP for efficient performance across various agricultural tasks. It features a constant mesh transmission with 10 forward and 2 reverse gears, ensuring smooth gear shifts and better control. The tractor is equipped with power steering for easy maneuverability and a high-capacity hydraulic system to support a range of implements. With a robust build, an efficient braking system, and an optimized wheelbase, the Trakstar 536 is designed for durability, stability, and enhanced productivity in farming operations.
Gromax has introduced a saffron and black color scheme to appeal to younger farmers while enhancing market visibility.
