Date: November 4, 2024Mumbai- Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd., a Lubricant Manufacturer, has appointed Mr. Abhijit Kulkarni as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). With over 20 years of experience at leading MNCs like Unilever, Castrol, and Coca-Cola, Kulkarni brings strong expertise in strategic marketing, brand development, and sales. He will oversee Gulf Oil’s B2C and B2B segments (excluding OEM) and report to Mr. Ravi Chawla, Managing Director & CEO.
Kulkarni joins Gulf Oil from Unilever, where he spent 16 years in various leadership roles, including Cluster General Manager for Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam in the ice cream division. He successfully turned around Unilever’s Thailand ice cream business and launched premium brands like 'Magnum' in India. His business acumen and expertise in driving growth, portfolio management, and building high-performance teams will be vital for enhancing Gulf Oil’s Channel business and aligning it with the company’s commercial goals.
