Delhi- Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson have expanded their co-developed premium motorcycle range with the launch of the Harley-Davidson X440 T, the new top-spec variant in the line-up. The X440 T sits above the existing trims and brings meaningful upgrades in electronics along with a redesigned rear section.
The biggest update is the introduction of ride-by-wire, added to the platform for the first time. This enables two riding modes Road and Rain and also allows the bike to offer new safety-focused features such as switchable traction control, switchable rear ABS, and a Panic Braking Alert system.
Visually, the X440 T can be identified by its reworked rear subframe and an all-new tail section. Harley-Davidson has revised the rear three-quarter design to improve proportions, reducing the gap between the rear wheel and the fender for a cleaner, more cohesive stance. The bike also gets redesigned grab handles aimed at improving pillion comfort. With these changes, the X440 T weighs 192 kg (kerb), about 1.5 kg more than the standard X440.
Powering the X440 T is the familiar 440cc single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine producing 27 hp and 38 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
Alongside the new launch, the X440 Denim variant has been discontinued. With that, the entire X440 range now comes with alloy wheels as standard across trims.
